Abstract

Deposition potentials of uranium in 3LiCl-2KCl eutectic based melts were determined on solid and liquid cathodes at the temperature range of 550-600°C. Tungsten metal was taken as a solid cathode, low melting Ga, Sn, In and Zn, as well as eutectic alloys based on Ga-Sn, Ga-In and Ga-Zn mixtures, were chosen as liquid cathodes.
