Abstract

Ultrafast optical spectroscopy was used to study carrier dynamics in the large magnetoresistance material WTe2. Our study reveals relaxation processes due to electron- phonon thermalization and phonon-assisted electron-hole recombination, providing insights into the large magnetoresistance mechanism.
