Abstract

A simple and effective approach is demonstrated to construct a nanostructured back electrode from CeOx suspended solution for efficient light trapping within the PSCs. The enhanced light trapping and electron-collecting CeOx/Al cathode shows general suitability for the normally used photoactive layer of P3HT:PCBM, P3HT:ICBA, and PBDTBDD:PCBM, resulting in significant enhancement in J sc and V oc, thus leading to improvements in PCE.
