Abstract

In this paper we present a framework based on prediction model for users in smart living environment. Users need to be able to get access to all available services continuously without performance or memory constraints, regardless of their physical location and mobility. To satisfy this need, we propose the use of cloudlets acting as distributed cloud resources with specific ranges of influence, and a real-time processing framework that will track the events and preferences of end consumers, predict their potential requirements, and give recommendations in order to optimize the resource utilization and service response time.
