Abstract

Metal stud wall systems for residential buildings are now gaining in popularity. However, the thermal performance of such walls is degraded by the strong thermal bridges caused by highly conductive metal studs. Currently, several wall configurations are being developed to address this problem. Some of these wall systems are examined in this work.
