Abstract

The ICRH antenna, developed to deliver over 7 MW at high power density to JET plasmas was described. The mechanical and hydraulic design aspects of the vacuum transmission lines (VTL) to be installed inside the antenna support box were discussed. The VTL was designed so that the required radiofrequency (RF) performance could be achieved and arcing was avoided.
