Abstract

Being tightly coupled with the MCNP(X) code, the release of the AARE package as successor of the CINDER-1.05 package was essential to keep up with the developments of the MCNP(X) code. While this paper describes the state of the RSICC package release, the collaboration is working towards extending the transmutation workflow and codes to support neutron, proton, light ion, and gamma driven activation with libraries extended to 200 MeV particle energy based on TENDL-2021. The collaboration is also extending the MCNP patch sets to the MCNP 6.2 environment, which will allow proton and charged particle interactions with tabulated cross section data.
