Abstract

This paper reviews the development of the 252Cf-source-driven frequency analysis method (Mihalczo et al., 1978), describes the wide variety of experiments that have been performed, and illustrates how it may be used for both fissile mass assay and subcriticality for burnup credit for spent fuel from pressurized water reactors.
