Abstract

The measurement of the β-decay scheme of ⁸⁵Ga triggered questions on the properties of the low-lying states in ⁸⁵Ge. In order to inspect the sensitivity of the results to the neutron d_5/2 and s_1/2 single-particle states, we performed an analysis of the level structure in the N = 51 ⁸³Ge and N = 53 ⁸⁵Ge isotopes.
