Abstract
In the search for novel hydrogen storage, materials based on p-element complex hydrides such as LiBH4 and Ca(BH4)2, cutting edge characterization techniques were used to determine the structure of the compounds and dynamics of the constituent ions was applied. Powder samples were investigated by means of combined neutron/ X-ray (synchrotron) diffraction, and neutron spectroscopy.
