Abstract

This work discusses the status of n+234U evaluation work up to 1.5 keV performed to update the resolved resonance region in the recently released US ENDF/B-VIII.1 nuclear data library. The evaluation procedure was performed with the R-matrix code SAMMY by using the latest available measured data with particular attention to neutron capture yield data measured at the Neutron Time of Flight (nTOF) facility at the European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN). Criticality benchmark calculations performed using the SCALE tool system were used to verify the effect of the updated evaluation.
