Abstract

This paper investigates five separate questions regarding the usage of Summit’s login nodes. We will explain the conversion of the usage logs to readable data and graphs, the comparison of usage between different timeframes like pre- and post-pandemic lockdowns or weekdays versus weekends, the comparison of usage parameters between different login nodes, the prediction of future trends of usage for Summit’s login nodes, and additional patterns of interest extracted from the data.
