Abstract

A hierarchical suite of parallel benchmarks, called PARKBENCH (PARallel Kernels and BENCHmarks), has been developed. The suite can be used to evaluate performance on a range of problems, from single machine parameters to full applications. Parkbench includes a complete set of codes implemented in PVM or MPI. In this paper we present selected results for some of the benchmarks found in PARKBENCH.
