Abstract

Rotational bands in [Formula Presented] and [Formula Presented] have been studied with the reactions [Formula Presented] at 35 and 40 MeV. Considerable extensions have been made to the previously published level schemes, and new structures have been found in each nucleus. Angular correlation measurements and reduced transition probability [Formula Presented] ratios have been extracted. Detailed comparisons are made with the first major projected shell model calculations for excited bands in an odd-[Formula Presented] nucleus [Formula Presented].
