Abstract

We have reexamined the basic k _∞ curves for the three main fissile isotopes of interest in the criticality-safety community. We again note the inconsistent results for U-233 in the high concentration region; however, other than this issue we again confirm that the 16-group Hansen-Roach cross-sections are excellent at modeling a wide range of nuclear systems.
