Abstract

A revision of ANSI/ANS-6.4.3, Gamma-Ray Attenuation Coefficients and Buildup Factors for Engineering Materials [1] is being developed in which (1) attenuation coefficients consistent with ENDF/B-VII will be used and (2) revised buildup factors will be computed based upon those attenuation coefficients.
