Abstract
The momentum-position realization of the Einstein-Podlsky-Rosen (EPR) paradox from spontaneous parametric down conversion was analyzed using direct detection in near and far fields of photons. A pump photon was absorbed by nonlinear medium and reemitted as two photons each with approximately half the energy of pump photon in parametric down conversion. The position or momentum of unmeasured particle becomes reality when corresponding quantity of other particle was measured as observed by EPR. The results show that two-photon momentum-position variance violates the bounds for the EPR and separability criteria.
