Quantum images from 4-wave mixing in atomic vapors

Abstract

We have used four-wave mixing in hot atomic vapors to generate multi-spatial-mode entangled optical fields. I will review and discuss our recent progress in the construction of phasesensitive and phase-insensitive amplifiers with this technique.
