Abstract
Development is ongoing as Oak Ridge National Laboratory restarts production of238Pu from237Np. Several technical accomplishments have been achieved in the initial two processing tests with irradiated targets at a batch size of one-third of the planned production scale. A third processing campaign is underway with a larger batch of targets than previous tests; this campaign is focused on addressing key issues identified in previous tests and producing heat-source plutonium oxide.
