Abstract

This paper describes several aspects of Ni3Al-based intermetallic composites. These include composite fabrication methods, chemical compatibility with several reinforcements, microstructure, and mechanical properties. Recommendations for potential reinforcement with desirable composite properties based on Ni3Al are discussed.
