Abstract

Electrochemical reduction of zirconium in the melts based on 3LiCl-2KCl eutectic mixture were studied on solid and liquid metal cathodes at 500-650 °C. Tungsten was used as the solid cathode and low melting gallium, tin and zinc as the liquid cathodes.
