Abstract

A proposed conference on process intensification and process innovation will be held at Christchurch, New Zealand from 24-29 September 2006. The conference aims to address new intensification techniques and feature the most recent development in areas highlighted at the previous conference in 2002. These topics will include novel reactors, separation, processing and simulation. Intensification techniques to be covered include ultrasound, centrifugal, magnetic and electrical fields. The highlighting of industry perspectives and case studies with relevant examples of either potential or realized application is the most important priority of the meeting.
