Abstract

The predictive transport modeling and magnetohydrodynamics (MHD) of mixed type I-II ELMy H-mode JET plasmas were discussed. The mized type I-II ELMy H-mode was a combination of type I and Type II ELM. In the ELM modeling, the transport during ELMs was enhanced by edge-localized radially Gaussian -shaped perturbations to the transport coefficients. It was observed that ELM exhibited high edge safety factor and high triangularity.
