Abstract

Cooperative relay network (CRN) has attracted an increasing interest as it plays an extremely significant role to improve security in wireless communication. The source, due to limited battery power is in-need of cooperation of a relay to communicate with the receiver. Thus a cooperation-request is broadcasted by the source specifying its quality of service (QoS) requirement in terms of desired secrecy rate. We present a secure power trading (SPT) model using Cournot duopoly based game theoretic approach in cooperative wireless communication network for power-efficiency and reliability with QoS performance requirement. A CRN model named SPT-CRN is thus formulated and analyzed as a Cournot duopoly game in this paper. Our analysis shows several interesting characteristics of SPT-CRN model and finally an equilibrium solution is obtained.
