Abstract
Observation and analysis of a resistive mode with interchange parity in negative central shear plasmas in the DIII-D Tokamak was described. Electron cyclotron emission (ECE) data showed that there was a localized interchange-like mode near or at the safety factor 2 surface. It was concluded that this mode was likely to be the resistive interchange mode.
