Abstract

Implantation of NiNbO3 with MeV metal ions can therefore result into nonlinear optical waveguide structures with great potential in a variety of device applications. An experimental illustration shows that the linear optical absorption spectrum of the implanted sample right after implantation exhibits the prominent surface plasmon peak near 430 nm, which the signature of silver quantum dots, which an average radius of 1.1.
