Abstract

We consider the initial value problem for monoenergetic neutron transport in homogeneous nonmultiplying, nonabsorbing medium with isotropic scattering and periodic boundary conditions. We completely determine the structure of the spectrum of the transport operator both in plane and parallelepipedic geometries.
