Abstract

K1-x(NH4)xH2PO4 (KADP) mixed crystals exhibit proton-glass behaviour over a certain composition range. The results of neutron-diffraction, high-resolution inelastic and quasielastic neutron scattering studies of KADP are presented. The anomalous behaviour of the proton glass system (0.2 ≤ × ≤ 0.8) is discussed.
