Abstract
A new technique for electrodepositing nanocrystalline nickel particles on graphite surfaces is described. The technique, known as H2 evolution method, enables the size-selective deposition of nickel nanoparticles that are very narrowly dispersed in diameter. Nickel particles that are narrowly dispersed can be obtained in a controlled manner over the size range 20-60 nm under specified conditions of the deposition time and deposition potential.
