Abstract

Neon ionization measurements from 10 ¹⁴W/cm ² to 10 ¹⁸W/cm ² quantify rescattering and nonsequential ionization physics as the interaction evolves from a nonrelativistic to relativistic response. A relativistic 3D model is found to be in excellent agreement.
