Abstract

Numerical simulation models and methods for polymer blends are detailed in this chapter, and some of the algorithms - such as volume of fluid, Monte Carlo dynamics and Cahn-Hilliard equations - are briefly reviewed. Three specific case studies are presented to demonstrate the methods and application of numerical modeling to investigate the morphology and dynamics of heterogeneous polymer blends.
