Abstract
(Figure Presented) The right combination of new techniques, which use a large variety of hard and soft templates in the controlled synthesis of mesoporous carbon materials with well-defined nanostructures, and surface modification of these materials offers new perspectives for carbon material applications. The picture shows a high-resolution view of the surface structure of a fibrous material formed from phloroglucinol.
