Matter couplings in non-minimal supergravity and massive superspace

Abstract

We show that the non-minimal supergravity theory can accomodate matter couplings different from the canonical ones. These couplings generate mass terms for the superpartners of the ordinary matter fermions and gauge vectors, thus leading to the concept of the massive superspace introduced earlier.
