Abstract

A unified treatment is provided for the local-moment, electronic, and cross terms in the magnetic susceptibility (formula presented) of the double-exchange model within the dynamical mean-field theory. All contributions diverge at the same critical temperature (formula presented) which may be calculated analytically for large (formula presented) and a semi-circular density-of-states. Close to (formula presented) the Curie constant deviates significantly from the result expected for a local-moment system.
