Abstract

The magnetic ground states of iron inclusions in cooper were studied. The first principles calculations were used for the study. It was observed that the induced magnetic moments on the copper sites ordered noncollinearly with respect to the prescribed direction of the ion moments even for a single iron atom inclusion. It was also found that the noncollinear ordering depended on the direction of the iron moment.
