Abstract

The magnetic structure of antiferromagnetic NdRhIn5 has been determined using neutron diffraction. It has a commensurate antiferromagnetic structure with a magnetic wave vector (1/201/2) below TN=11 K. The staggered Nd moment at 1.6 K is 2.5(1)μΒ aligned along the c axis. This magnetic structure is closely related to the low-temperature magnetic structure of the cubic parent compound NdIn3.
