Abstract
The cobalt-based perovskite Ho0.1Sr0.9CoO 3-x (x = 0.15, 0.27, 0.31, 0.42, 0.49) has been studied by means of neutron diffraction as well as bulk susceptibility and magnetization measurements over the temperature range of 10-300 K. It is found that the degree of oxygen deficiency not only strongly affects the magnetic ordering temperature, but also influences the magnetic and crystal structures.
