Abstract

The effect of magnetic field on electron-doped superconductors Pr 1-xLaCexCuO4 using neutron scattering was analyzed. Investigations show that the field dependency of the magnetic intensity at low temperature and the onset temperature of the commensurate antiferromagnetic (AF) order were similar in the x = 0.11 sample. It was found that the magnetic intensity and the onset temperature of the order increased with the maximum field effect by applying a magnetic field up to 9 T. The results show difference and similarity of the field effect between the hole- and electron-doped high-Tc cuprates.
