Abstract

The local magnetic properties of Gd3Ga5O12 (GGG) were studied using the technique of muon spin relaxation. In both powdered and single crystal GGG samples, there was no sign of static recording down to at least 25 mK. Instead, below 1 K, there was a linear drop in the Gd fluctuation rate. It appeared that the system remains dynamics, albeit with slow fluctuations.
