Laser system for high-efficiency hydrogen ion stripping

Abstract

We describe the design, installation, and commissioning result of a macro-pulsed megawatt UV laser system for high-efficiency laser stripping of 1 GeV hydrogen ion beam in the accumulator ring of Spallation Neutron Source accelerator complex.
