Abstract

Non-acoustic solitons in a plasma consisting of positive and negative ions with nonisothermal electrons were studied. A quasipotential method was used to account for the full nonlinearity of plasma equations. Coexistence of compressive and rarefactive solitons was obtained for isothermal case with β = 1.
