Abstract

The morphology of ion acoustic cnoidal waves (IACWs) in unmagnetized plasma comprises of negative and positive ion fluids, a positive ion-beam, and superthermal electrons is presented. The Korteweg-de Vries (KdV) equation, which characterizes nonlinear periodic waves, is derived by adopting the reductive perturbation method (RPM), and IACW solution is determined. The influence of the ion-beam, the superthermality of electrons, and other relevant factors on the dynamics of IACWs are examined. The outcomes of this investigation could advance our knowledge of the key characteristics of ion acoustic waves in laboratory plasmas.
