Abstract

The temperature dependence of resistivity, ρ(T), for Pr0.65Ca0.35MnO3 thin films prepared by the laser pulse deposition method has been investigated in the temperature range from 4.2 to 300 K. Two peculiarities have been observed on the ρ(T) curves: an abrupt change of the resistance temperature behavior at the temperature of magnetic transition, TN ∼ 130 K, and a crossover for activation energy of carriers at a temperature Tco ∼ 205 K that corresponds to the charge ordering temperature. The experimental data have been analyzed in frameworks of modern theoretical approaches for transport mechanism in CMR magnetic materials.
