Abstract

In this paper we consider the problem of continuous tracking of a reference signal assumed to be a linear combination of polynomials, exponentials and sinusoids of known frequencies. As in [1], the concept of orthogonality and the Diophantine equation are used to construct a prefilter with specified preview information. For the purposes of this paper, only the zero preview case is considered. We exploit the non-uniqueness of the Diophantine equation solution to construct a prefilter that is optimal in a certain sense.
