Improved linear optic bell-state measurement using ancillary photons

Research output: Chapter in Book/Report/Conference proceedingConference contributionpeer-review

Abstract

It is not possible to construct a linear optic device that unambiguously discriminates all four Bell states. However, the Bell-state measurement efficiency can be made arbitrarily close to unity by introducing additional entangled photons.
