Abstract
The I-GUIDE Platform is a pioneering cyberinfrastructure environment designed to advance geospatial data-intensive convergence science and knowledge discovery across various domains. By integrating geospatial data, domain-specific knowledge elements, and open educational resources, the platform empowers researchers and practitioners to tackle complex scientific challenges cutting across multiple disciplines. This paper provides an overview of the motivation, architecture, principles, and applications and impacts of the platform, demonstrating how it fosters interdisciplinary collaboration and enables geospatial data-intensive convergence research and education.
