Hyper-entanglement: Generation and applications

Abstract

Producing photons entangled independently in orbital angular-momentum, polarization, and energy-time, we realize a source of "hyper"- entanglement. Such a source enables new quantum communication capabilities. We propose and demonstrate remote tunable preparation of entangled states.
