    Abstract

The present status and future development of experimental techniques and approach to 100Sn in in-beam spectroscopy are reviewed. The structure information obtained from recent studies of the Tz = 1 nuclei 94Pd, 98Cd and 102Sn is discussed with respect to shell structure, increasing proton-neutron interaction and excitations of the N=Z=50 doubly magic core. First results from neutron rich Ni nuclei and their shell model analysis are presented.
