Abstract
A facile and inexpensive solid-state battery system (Li/LiBH4-LiI/lithiated TiS2) that exhibits excellent performance at elevated temperature (120 C) is presented. The preformation of solid electrolyte interphase by chemical reaction is demonstrated to prohibit self-discharge and successfully address the interfacial issue between the solid electrolyte and cathode at high temperatures.
