Abstract
High-speed and high-capacity 5G wireless applications are provided by a planar Microstrip patch antenna with compact Inset fed that is appropriate for 3GPP band n257. The suggested antenna has a small footprint of 4.39 mm x 3.6 mm, a full ground structure, and resonates at 28 GHz with a return loss of-30 dB and a bandwidth of 3.5GHz between 26 and 29.5 GHz. The substrate of the antenna is made of thin FR4 and has a 4.4 relative permittivity. Maximum power is coupled to the antenna at this frequency, as evidenced by the planned antenna's high gain of 24.61 dB and low VSWR of less than 1.5. Using Ansoft HFSS, all the settings are developed and optimized.
